How will my order be shipped?

We ship Fed Ex and USPS from West Des Moines, IA.

  • Your order will arrive within 2-6 days after order confirmation – Depending on weather and other shipping conditions, gifts shipped may not leave our facility on the exact date specified to ensure they spend the least amount of time in transit.
How do I check the status of my order?

You can use the Fed Ex or USPS tracking number that is emailed to you once the order ships. If you have any problems with your shipping, please email orders@chocolatestory.com.  Or, call 515-226-9893.

How is chocolate shipped?

We ship from Iowa so at times it can be too hot to safely ship chocolate without it melting (usually April to September). During those times, and year-round for delivery addresses to warm destinations (over 75 degrees), we will ship second day with a frozen pack. If this occurs, we will contact you with additional costs.

what is your refund policy?

We guarantee our products 100% and will refund any product that is damaged, or missing in transit as long as the correct shipping address was supplied.  If the item is incorrect, we will reship with the correct item or refund.

For all products, there is a 30 day refund or replacement window from the date of purchase.

We do not ask you to return the products to us as we cannot restock food items. Instead, contact us at 515-226-9893.  Please have  your order number and the reason why you wish to have a refund.  We will  refund you the money within 3 business days.

Can my order be shipped internationally?

At this time we only ship within the continental United States.
